Identity documents are held only as long as the verification retention schedule requires and are then deleted by a scheduled job rather than by hand.

Where your data actually goes
Deletion is a scheduled job
Documents are deleted when the retention schedule says so, by a job that runs on its own. It does not wait for somebody to remember, and it does not need you to ask.
We do not sell anything about you
No data broker, no advertising network and no third party analytics that identifies you. The processors we do use are listed in the notice below with what each one is for.
